DEPRESSION LEVELS OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN TERMS OF SOME PSYCHIATRIC AND SOCIO-DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES IN TURKEY

This study aims to research the depression levels of university students in terms some psychiatric and socio-demographic features Turkey. The group includes a total 504 who recently at various faculties Anadolu University. data was collected through "Personal Information Form" "Beck Depression Inventory" (BDI). At end study, mean Beck Inventory score is 13.6. As result this 41.5% has minimal level, 24.2% mild 28% moderate 6.3% severe level depression. scores whose parents are divorced were found be significantly higher than those together.
